WEST UTICA- The Red Cross is helping six people after a fire in West Utica on Saturday night.
Fire crews were called to 1215 Noyes Street at around 8:30 p.m. for reports of heavy smoke.
When they got there, they observed heavy smoke coming from the attic, but it was put out quickly.
Utica Fire Chief Scott Ingersoll said there were no injuries.
The Red Cross is helping five adults and a 16-year-old.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
