Syracuse, N.Y. - It appears as though the Syracuse Orange have their leading scorer back for next year.
According to multiple reports, including from ESPN, Tyus Battle has withdrawn his name from the NBA Draft and will be returning to the Orange for his junior season.
Battle had until 11:59 on Wednesday night to make that decision.
He worked out for multiple NBA teams, including the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday, but was considered by many to be a second-round pick.
Battle lead 'Cuse with 19.2 points per game this past season, and this now means that the Orange will return it's top three scorers in Battle, Oshae Brissett and Frank Howard.
Syracuse finished 23-14 last season and advanced to the sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament.
