Newport, N.Y. -- State Police out of Herkimer are searching for an elderly man that may have fallen into the West Canada Creek on Friday evening.
State Police began their search around 6 p.m. Newport Fire Department, along with State DEC and Oriskany Water Rescue were on scene just east of the West Canada Creek fishing access site.
