ROME N.Y.-It's Catholic Schools week and one local school held an open house Sunday morning.
Rome Catholic School on Cypress Street in Rome held its third annual All-You-Can-Eat breakfast and open house, seeking potential enrollment for the future.
There was a book fair, basket raffle, 50/50 raffles, and coloring activites for the kids.
Nancy Wilson, Rome Catholic School Principal says the breakfast and open house draw visitors to the school every year.
"The breakfast is all you can eat, It's a scratch made breakfast, it's kind of well known in the area. They do a great job and people just look forward to it every year. And then this year, we expanded our raffles, we usually have a few basket raffles this year we had close to $2,000 in donations for our basket raffles, plus each class makes a basket, and donates that." said Wilson.
Proceeds from the Breakfast go to the school's PTG fund. If you are interested in learning more about Rome Catholic School you can call the school at (315) 336-6190 or click here.
