ROME, N.Y. – Rome Memorial Hospital is working with the state Department of Health to offer walk-in Hepatitis A vaccination clinics after an infected employee at a local restaurant may have exposed customers to the virus.
The clinics will take place at Chestnut Commons in Rome in Suite 103 on the following days:
- Friday, Feb. 28 from 3 to 7 p.m.
- Saturday, Feb. 29 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Sunday, March 1 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Anyone who ate at Cianfrocco’s Subs & Wings in Rome between Monday, Feb. 3 and Saturday, Feb. 22 were potentially exposed by an employee who tested positive for Hepatitis A.
Individuals who may have been exposed must receive the vaccination within 14 days.
