UPDATE: Rome Police tell NewsChannel 2 that the missing man, Thomas Sulleski, has been found. He was unharmed. Police say they are not releasing any other information at this time. 


ROME - Rome Police are asking for the public's help finding a missing man who has dementia.

At 9:15 Sunday morning a NY Alert was issued on behalf of the Rome Police Department for a "male with dementia that has wandered off." The alert says 64-year-old Thomas Sulleski walked away from 401 Floyd Ave. in Rome, but does not specify when.

Sulleski is described as a while male, standing 5'11" tall and weighing 240 pounds. He was last seen wearing jeans and white sneakers.

Police say Sulleski may be attempting to get to Ava, but he may also wander into the woods.

If you see Sulleski or have any information on his location you are asked to call the Rome Police Department at 315-337-3311. A photo was not provided as of the initial publication of this article. The original missing person alert expires at 12:50 p.m. Sunday.
