Rome Police looking for suspects after shots fired incident

Police in the City of Rome are asking for the public’s help after a report of a shots fired incident earlier this week.

ROME, NY – Police in the City of Rome are asking for the public’s help after a report of a shots fired incident earlier this week.

Rome Police say at 5:24 p.m. Tuesday officers were called to the Fastrac gas station on Erie Boulevard West for a report of gunshots. When officers arrives they reported that all individuals involved in the alleged shooting had left the area. Police say after talking to witnesses and looking at surveillance video they learned a fight had broken out and several shots were fired.

Police say they are looking for a gold four-door Saturn, which was last seen driving east on Erie Blvd. Police are also looking for a gray or blue four-door sedan. Photos of the vehicles are included in this story.
