ROME – The Rome YMCA has received a $15,000 donation from KeyBank to help the organization operate S.T.E.P., or Strategic Teen Enrichment Program.

The free, multi-agency program is for 7th and 8th grade students, and it’s meant to bring outside agencies into the YMCA to present information about different subject matters that will help students with things they’ll encounter as they get older.

Some of the topics covered by the program include college and job readiness, money matters, addition, relationships and real estate.
