Rome man accused in Whitestown theft

The alleged incident happened back on June 19, 2019.

ROME, N.Y. -- A Rome man is charged with burglary after deputies say he stole from a Whitestown business in June.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office Robert Adsit, 27 of Rome, was arrested for illegally entering Village Motors in Whitestown and stealing property that belonged to the business.

The alleged incident happened back on June 19, 2019.

Adsit was sent to Oneida County Jail awaiting arraignment.

We're told the investigation is ongoing, and more arrests are possible.
