Rome man accused of choking his ex-girlfriend at her home

Police say while inside her home, 40-year-old Christopher Hildenbrandt grabbed his ex-girlfriend by the throat as she tried to run out of the house.

ROME, NY -- New York State Police in Marcy arrested a Rome man for allegedly going to his ex-girlfriend's home, and choking her. 

Police say while inside her home, 40-year-old Christopher Hildenbrandt grabbed his ex-girlfriend by the throat as she tried to run out of the house. 

Hildenbrandt is charged with burglary, criminal contempt and criminal obstruction of breathing. 

He was processed and transported to Oneida County Jail for centralized arraignment.
