ROME – A Rome man is facing a felony charge after he allegedly raped a child, according to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Office’s Chief Deputy Joseph Lisi, director of the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center.

Antonio Gualandi, 28, was arrested Tuesday on an indictment warrant from Oneida County Court on a charge of felony third-degree rape. According to Lisi, an investigation found that Gualandi allegedly had sexual intercourse with a female child under the age of 17 while in the city of Rome.
