ROME, N.Y. – Starting Monday, two Rome Medical Practice offices will temporarily move to Griffiss Business and Technology park to help Rome Memorial Hospital with its staffing shortage.
Lisa Taurisano, practice administrator, said consolidating these locations will free up staff to help the hospital.
“Consolidating our practices at our Avery Lane location at Griffiss will allow us to provide much needed support to the hospital and its nurses,” she said.
The pulmonology and sleep medicine office and three surgical specialists, located at 1614 N. James St., will move to 267 Avery Lane until further notice.
Dr. Mohammad Seedat will temporarily be located in Suite 100 on Avery Lane, while Dr. Alberto DelPino, Dr. Pedro DelPino and Dr. Theresa Ruddy will be in Suite 300 at the same location.
