Rome police seek suspect for 'Warrant of the Week'

The Rome Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating a suspect as part of this week’s “Warrant of the Week.”

ROME – The Rome Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating a suspect as part of this week’s “Warrant of the Week.”

Steven Morrison, 29, is wanted on a warrant from Rome City Court for second-degree criminal contempt for violating a court order. Police say Morrison is believed to be living in Utica, but he visits Rome frequently.

Morrison is described as being 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing 215 pounds.

If anybody has information about Morrison’s whereabouts, they can submit an anonymous tip to Rome police, or through the Mohawk Valley Crime Stoppers. Information can also be reported by calling Rome police at 315-399-7780 or by calling 911.
