ANNSVILLE, N.Y. – A Rome woman is accused of a stealing a car following a traffic stop in the town of Annsville.
Oneida County Sheriff’s Office deputies stopped 29-year-old Nephalia Wade around 11:15 p.m. for speeding on State Route 69.
Upon investigation, deputies discovered the 2019 Chevy Impala she was driving was reported stolen from Utica.
Wade was arrested and charged with criminal possession of stolen property, an E felony.
She was released on an appearance ticket, and is scheduled to return to court in Annsville at a later date.
