Restaurant owners can request financial assistance to cover revenue losses during the coronavirus pandemic through the Restaurant Revitalization Fund, which was established by the Small Business Administration.
Applications can be submitted starting at noon on Monday, May 3.
Restaurants, caterers, bakeries, breweries, food trucks and others are eligible to receive between $1,000 and $5 million per location.
The funding aims to help those in the food industry recover from the pandemic by awarding money to be used for payroll, rent, mortgages, utilities, businesses supplies and the cost of materials, among other things.
During the first 21 days, priority will be given applicants who are women, veterans, or socially and economically disadvantaged. Following the priority period, all applications will be processed in the order in which they are approved.
