Utica, N.Y. - Proctor improved to 6-0 on the season with a 50-14 win over RFA at D'Alessandro Stadium in a game featured by the Great American Rivalry Series, Saturday.
After the Black Knights took a 7-6 lead in the first quarter, the Raiders went on an offensive surge and never looked back. Tasean Cooper rushed for 187 yards with three touchdowns and an interception on defense in the win.
RFA drops to 1-5 with the loss.
Over at Gaetano Stadium, Utica College earned its first Empire 8 win of the season, downing St. John Fisher 34-28 in the third annual Believe Bowl.
Proctor grad Logan Wilcox lead the Pioneers under center, completing 14 of 27 passes for 170 yards and three touchdowns. Peyton Miller was on the receiving end of two of those TD passes.
JJ O'Connor, Eli Belle and Proctor grad Jamarious Morgan each touched paydirt for the Pioneers as well.
UC improves to 3-2 overall (1-1 conference) with the win. They next face Morrisville St. at home on Saturday, October 19.
