SUNY Oneonta ranked No. 55 on list of best Northeast colleges

SUNY Oneonta has once again been ranked in the top 60 colleges in the Northeast for the fourth years in a row.

ONEONTA – SUNY Oneonta has once again been ranked in the top 60 colleges in the Northeast for the fourth years in a row.

The U.S. News and World Report’s list of Best Colleges for 2019 has SUNY Oneonta tied for No. 55 out of 196 schools.

SUNY Oneonta is a public college that was founded in 1889, with a total of 5,940 undergraduate students.

“We are thrilled to be recognized among U.S. News’ top institutions,” said SUNY Oneonta President Barbara Jean Morris in a news release. “This honor and other national recognition we’ve recently received show SUNY Oneonta’s excellence in its commitment to students and their learning.”

In the category of public universities in the Northeast, SUNY Oneonta is ranked No. 14.
