SANGERFIELD, N.Y. (UPDATE) -- The oneida county sheriff's office has released the name of the man they say was involved in a serious atv accident in Sangerfield. He suffered serious head injuries.
It happened on Tinker Hollow Road a before 2:00am Sunday, July 5.
Sheriff's officials say Karl Graham, 50 of Sangerfield, lost control of his atv, overturned, and was thrown off. Police say Graham was not wearing a helmet at the time. Graham was airlifted to SUNY Upstate Hospital to be treated for his head injuries.
No tickets have been issued at this time.
The accident remains under investigation.
