HERKIMER - Herkimer County officials have confirmed a new case of Coronavirus in the county.
The Herkimer County Health Department says the afflicted person is recovering at home. That individual did not travel out of the country.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases in Herkimer County to two.
Wednesday, NewsChannel 2 reported the woman who contracted the first case in Herkimer County is back in the hospital. That woman traveled to Greece, but did not show symptoms until more than two weeks later. Her case was first announced on March 12.
