WESTMORELAND- The Oneida County Sheriff's office is looking for the public's help in identifying the suspect involved in a hit and run in Westmoreland on Saturday morning.
Deputies said the incident happened around 3 a.m. on Skyline Drive in Westmoreland.
The victim involved in the hit and run told deputies a white SUV tried passing her on Route 5 and in the process hit her vehicle, causing heavy damage to the driver's side. The airbag also deployed.
Deputies said the person then fled.
The victim says she was unable to get the make/model or plate number.
Deputies are looking for a white SUV that was in the area around 2:45 a.m.-3:00 a.m..
