On Wednesday, Oneida County reported 74 new positive coronavirus cases, the highest single-day total reported since the start of the pandemic.
This comes just one day after a record-high was reported on Tuesday, when 68 people tested positive.
There are 561 active cases in the county, also the highest number reported since March.
There are 27 people in the hospital as well, 22 within Mohawk Valley Health System and five outside of the county. Ten of the people hospitalized are nursing home residents.
The total number of coronavirus-related deaths in the county now stands at 134.
