UTICA, N.Y. -- Adirondack Bank donated $20,000 to help support the military rehabilitation program at Sitrin.
Knowing that Sitrin had to cancel its annual Starts and Stripes Walk fundraiser, the president and CEO of Adirondack Bank, Rocco Arcuri, wanted to step up and contribute.
“These veterans that are coming back from Iraq, Afghanistan, and some of the issues that they were facing and how do they adjust back to civil life and all that. It really….I mean the stories are really horrific, and if it doesn't get to your heart you're not a human being,” said Arcuri.
The money will be used to help local veterans in the rehab program.
