COOPERSTOWN - Six former big league heroes will receive baseball's highest honor in Cooperstown this weekend.
The Hall of Fame weekend kicked off Friday with events running through Monday morning for baseball fans of all ages.
The National Baseball Hall of Fame's 2018 induction ceremony will feature the most major leaguers to be honored in the history of the hall of fame.
The Class of 2018 includes Vladimir Guerrero, Chipper Jones, Trevor Hoffman, Jack Morris, and Alan Trammel.
The streets of Cooperstown will be buzzing with more than 50 Hall of Famers returning for the weekend.
There are now 323 Hall of Fame members, 77 of whom are still living.
A parade of legends takes place Saturday at 6:00 p.m. on Main Street, with the induction ceremony Sunday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. A roundtable discussion featuring the newest class of inductees wraps up the weekend Monday morning at 10:30.
