It's been a very quiet weather pattern lately, with not much snowfall from December through the first half of January. Things look to change as we head through the week.
Another cold night is ahead, though we aren't expecting temperatures quite as cold as last night. Many areas look to fall into the single digits and low teens. Mostly cloudy skies return Tuesday, with less cold weather on the way. Highs climb to near 30.
A weak cold front brings a round of snow showers to the region on Wednsday. Little accumulation is expected. A much better chance for widespread accumulating snow is expected on Thursday night. This one could bring a few inches of snow to the region.
The weather pattern turns much more favorable for snow this weekend. The long range forecast models are hinting at a possible storm developing and heading along the east coast. There's a lot of uncertainty on it's possible track. It is, after all, only Monday. We'll keep you posted as details become available later this week.
