City of Utica: The city of Utica is declaring a Snow Emergency which will go into effect at 11:00 pm Tuesday February 12th, 2019, and will remain in effect until further notice.
All vehicles must be off the streets by 11 pm Tuesday to facilitate safe passage for snow removal and emergency services. The Snow Emergency applies to all city streets and roadways with no exceptions.
Overnight parking permits are not applicable during a Snow Emergency.
The City urges no unnecessary travel on City streets as we anticipate dangerous road conditions. The City also urges caution as there may be damage to tree limbs and potential power outages due to the anticipated heavy snow.
If anyone requires assistance they should call 911.
Vehicles left on City roads after 11 pm Tuesday are subject to ticketing and towing at the owner’s expense.
City of Rome: The Rome Police Department along with the Department of Public Works is asking all residents of the city to please have their vehicles off the roadway no later than midnight on Tuesday February 12, 2019, to help make snow removal efforts easier.
Village of Yorkville: The Village of Yorkville has issued a snow emergency effective at 6:00pm Tuesday. Please have all vehicles off the Village streets.
Village of Ilion: The Village of Ilion has issued a snow emergency Monday. No parking will be allowed on village streets after 5 p.m., with no unecessary travel after 6 p.m.
City of Little Falls: The parking ban is back in effect. With the snow starting to fall all residents should extend the courtesy to the DPW employees who are tasked with removing snow and please remove your vehicles from the streets as soon as possible. Any vehicle parked on the streets overnight are subject to enforcement action.
Village of Richfield Springs: No parking on village of Richfield Springs streets in the event of 3 inches or more of snowfall.
Village of Cooperstown: The Village of Cooperstown is issuing a Snow Emergency beginning Tuesday 2/12/2019 at 12 pm expiring Wednesday 2/13/2019 at 9am. There is to be no parking on Village streets during this time. Parking will be available in the Doubleday Parking Lot.
Village of Dolgeville: Due to the impending storm there will be no parking on Dolgeville Village Streets from 3:00 pm Tuesday February 12, 2019 to 10 am Wednesday February 13, 2019.
Village of Milford: The Village of Milford has issued a Snow Emergency beginning 2/12/2019 at 12 p.m. expiring Wednesday 2/13/2019 at 9 a.m. No vehicles can be parked on village streets or be blocking sidewalks during this time.
City of Oneonta: Due to the predicted snowfall, the City of Oneonta lifted parking regulations in the municipal parking garage and lots as of 8:00pm on Monday, February 11, 2019.
No vehicles are to be parked on the road after 2 1/2" of snow and any vehicles left on the road are subject to ticketing / towing at the vehicle owners expense.
Please remember to clear your sidewalks prior to 9am each morning and remove snow from sidewalk intersections and surrounding hydrants if you are able to safely do so.
