Rain, sleet, snow and the dark of night won’t stop your prescriptions from Parkway Drugs from being delivered.

Even in the midst of a winter storm, Parkway Drugs has seven delivery drivers on the road today. The pharmacy does hourly safety checks with the drivers because of the winter weather.

Owners of the company say delivery is and always will be free, but the gratitude of the recipients is priceless.

"That’s part of the gratification of doing deliveries – not just in storms, it’s in every day,” said Parkway Drugs owner and pharmacist Tony Chiffy. “You have a sick child at home, and you don't want to get that child up and into a car and come places, so you call us and we'll take care of it for you."

Parkway Drugs even delivered for half a day during Winter Storm Stella in March 2017.
