UTICA, N.Y. – The man accused of fatally stabbing a man on Varick Street in July of 2019 pleaded guilty to manslaughter Wednesday.
Kwame Spratt was charged with second-degree murder in the death of 33-year-old Thomas Bell. Police say Bell died after being stabbed in the neck and torso.
Two other men were also stabbed during the incident, but did not suffer life-threatening injuries.
Spratt is scheduled to return to Oneida County Court for sentencing on March 25.
