Squabble over video game leads to sibling stabbing in Utica

Utica police say a 14-year-old girl stabbed her brother while fighting over a video game remote on Sunday night.

UTICA, N.Y. – Utica police say a 14-year-old girl stabbed her brother while fighting over a video game remote on Sunday night.

Police responded to a call on Schuyler Street around 11 p.m. after they say the girl stabbed her 13-year-old brother with a small knife. The boy suffered minor injuries.

The girl is charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.

Because of their ages, the teens' names were not released.
