UTICA, N.Y. – In 2020, Staffworks raised more than $3 million to help at-risk animals through its annual Save A Life Campaign, which helps support nonprofit organizations that provide care and services for animals in need.
This is the most money raised in one year through the campaign since it started in 2014, breaking the 2019 record of $1.8 million by 65%.
The $3 million was distributed to 39 organizations across 17 counties in New York and Pennsylvania.
Staffworks President Anita A. Vitullo say the coronavirus pandemic has hit these organizations hard, and the money from the campaign will help with adoption programs, spay and neuter services, medical clinics, boarding, grooming and merchandise sales.
