ONEONTA, N.Y. (UPDATED) -- New York State Police have located the vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash involving a pedestrian.
According to State Police, late Sunday, Aug. 15 or early Monday, Aug. 16, a pedestrian was struck by an unknown vehicle on State Route 205 near Country Club Road in the town of Oneonta.
The vehicle did not stop or report the incident. Police reached out to the public Monday morning, asking anyone with information to contact them. Early Monday afternoon, the vehicle was located.
Police say the investigation is ongoing.
