Sidney man thought to be missing found safe, state police say

State police have located a Sidney man after he was reported missing.

SIDNEY, N.Y. – State police have located a Sidney man after he was reported missing.

Troopers say 23-year-old Cody Conkling walked out of his house on Parker Hollow Road in the town of Sidney, near Unadilla, around 4 p.m. Sunday, and said he may have been picked up by a vehicle.

Officials say he was located safe, in good health and his family was notified. 

Troopers thanked the public and media for sharing his photo.
