ONEONTA, N.Y. – New York State Police are searching for a man suspected of stealing money from someone's jacket in the Oneonta Walmart on Jan. 11.
The suspect is accused of taking cash out of someone’s jacket pocket while it was on a chair outside of the fitting rooms. Police say it happened around 5:15 p.m.
According to surveillance footage, the suspect was wearing tan pants, an orange shirt, a black knit cap and a black face mask.
Police say the suspect left the parking lot in a large box truck with no identifiable markings on it.
