RUSSIA – New York State Police are asking for the public’s help locating a pickup truck that was stolen in the town of Russia.

Police say the dark grey 2005 GMC Sierra pickup truck was taken from someone’s property on Militia Road in Russia sometime between Feb. 25 and March 5.

The pickup truck has dents on the hood and several locations on the body of the truck. It also has a tool box and fuel tank in the bed of the truck, with a homemade silver-colored aluminum tonneau cover, according to police.

If anybody has information regarding the stolen truck, they’re asked to call state police in Herkimer at 315-866-7275 or 315-366-6000.
