Striving for Success: 10 honored for dedication to their profession and community

NEW HARTFORD, N.Y. -- The Genesis Group is honoring 10 individuals under the age of 40, for their dedication to their profession and the community.

Each person has their own way of giving back.

A special congratulations to NewsChannel 2's very own Jill Reale. Jill was among the 10 people honored during the 14th annual Striving for Success awards Wednesday afternoon.

The head of the group says these are some important people in the continued success of our region.

“Some of the honorees are native some of them have been there had moved here and that needs to be known that they made a decision to either move here or stay here and to make an impact in our community,” said Ray Durso Jr., the executive director.

The honorees are:

Theresa Jalowiec – Northland Communications & MVSHRM
Jean Leandre – Mohawk Valley Community College
Nicole McDaniels – Herkimer College
Morgan Mielnicki – The Community Foundation of Herkimer & Oneida Counties
Jille Reale – WKTV NewsChannel 2
Stephen Turnbull – Turnbull Insurance
Jennifer Waters – Mohawk Valley EDGE
