MOHAWK, N.Y. - The local chapter of the Red Cross is assisting another local family after a fire in Herkimer County.

Two adults and a 10-year-old are being assisted.

The fire on Columbia Street in Mohawk started on Saturday morning around 7 a.m.

It was contained to the attic and the home has a lot of water damage.

The fire remains under investigation, but this is at least the fourth fire locally that the Red Cross has had to step in and assist with, in just one week.
