UTICA, N.Y. – The suspect involved in a standoff with Verona police in August of 2019 pleaded guilty Thursday to two counts of menacing a police officer.
Police say Justin Carter, 35, barricaded himself in a barn off of Route 46, refusing to come out after shooting at police officers and patrol cars.
