A Sylvan Beach man accused of sexually abusing two children in 2017 has pleaded guilty to the crime.
Travis True, 24, has pleaded guilty to first-degree sexual abuse, according to the Oneida County District Attorney’s Office.
True was arrested in May after he allegedly had sexual contact with two females under 11 years old in Sylvan Beach in Nov. 2017. True was charged with two counts of felony first-degree sexual abuse and he was being held in the Oneida County Jail on $15,000 bail.
Following his guilty plea, True is scheduled to be sentenced in Oneida County Court on Aug. 15.
