SYRACUSE, N.Y. – Syracuse Hancock International Airport says they are monitoring for coronavirus and taking precautions, but are still operating normally.
The cleaning staff is also taking extra care to clean heavily traveled areas of the airport.
“Protecting the health and safety of our employees, passengers and guests remains our top priority. We will continue to monitor this disease and its potential impact on our operation,” said Jason Terreri, airport director.
Terreri says the airport is following the guidance of the Centers for Disease Control and the Onondaga County Health Department.
The county health department has a section on their website regarding how to take action against contracting coronavirus.
Anyone with questions regarding upcoming flights should contact individual airlines for more information.
