Chestnut Hill, M.A. - After a tough shooting night for the Orange on Thursday against North Carolina, Syracuse shot 54% from the field for the game and 60% (3-5) from three-point range in the first quarter.
The Orange also tallied three quarters of 100% free-throw shooting performances, 89% for the game.
Fifth-year guard Tiana Mangakahia did not suit up for Sunday’s game due to a foot injury she acquired in their December 10 game against Miami.
Redshirt senior guard Kiara Lewis and Cardoso combined for 44 points in Syracuse’s 83-70 win over Boston College. This is the program’s ninth win in a row at Conte Forum.
Freshman guard Priscilla Williams contributed 14 points in 14 minutes of play.
