Syracuse, NY - Syracuse guard Elijah Hughes is declaring for the 2020 NBA draft.
The announcement came via Twitter, Hughes tweeting “the love is real, it's genuine thank you Syracuse” along with a thank you letter attached saying that he plans to enter the NBA draft process and try and fulfill his childhood dream.
The first-team all ACC forward led Syracuse and the conference averaging 19 points per game this season shooting 81 percent from the free throw line. He was second on the team in assists per game with 3.4 and averaging about 36 minutes per game.
His teammates like Joseph Girard III congratulates him tweeting back saying, “It’s been real money man, go chase the dream.”
The 2020 NBA draft is scheduled to be held on June 25.
