Taylor named 2020 AHL North-Division All-Star team Coach

Chris Taylor (Rochester Americans) will serve as coach for the North Division All-Star team.

Springfield, Mass. - Rochester Americans head coach, Chris Taylor will serve as the coach of the North-Division All-Star team.

Taylor becomes the American's first All-Star coach since John Tortorella served in 1997.

Taylor is currently in this third year as head coach of Rochester and this season he's led his team to a 20-6-2-2 record and 44 points in 30 games this season. The Americans are currently holding the top spot in the North Division followed by Utica Comets at number two.

The 2020 AHL All-Star classic is January 26 through 27 at Citizens Bank Arena in Ontario, California.
