Teen accused of intentionally starting Rome fire

A teen has been charged with second-degree arson for allegedly starting a fire on North James Street in Rome.

ROME, N.Y. – A teen has been charged with second-degree arson for allegedly starting a fire at a residence on North James Street in Rome.

The fire happened on Oct. 1, and investigators say it was intentionally set.

Three adults and three children were displaced by the fire.

Police say the suspect is under the age of 18, and the name will not be released.
