REMSEN, N.Y. – Two teens have been charged after allegedly attempting to break into TRB’s Gun Shop in Remsen on Nov. 11.
New York State Police were called to the shop on Plank Road, where they found and arrested the two suspects.
Cameron L. Major, 18, and a 16-year-old were charged with felony attempted burglary and possession of burglary tools. Both were issued appearance tickets and will return to court at a later date.
Major was also charged in connection with 2018 thefts at Gun Works of CNY in Verona and Runnings in Rome.
Police say 14 handguns were stole from Gun Works of CNY, five of which were recovered during the investigation.
In relation to the 2018 incidents, Major was charged with second- and third-degree burglary.
He was arraigned on Nov. 21 and released on bail.
