UTICA, N.Y. -- The phone lines opened Wednesday morning for this year’s Stomp Out Cancer Telethon.
NewsChannel 2 WKTV will have our telethon from 7 to 8 p.m. from the MVHS Cancer Center at the Faxton Campus on CBS Utica, and with your help, we can ‘stomp out cancer.’
All gifts this year will be matched up to $125,000.
This year, Mohawk Valley Health System is partnering with Symeon's and Utica Coffee Roasting Company to offer some great incentives.
Our very own Kristen Copeland, along with Symeon, will be hosting the telethon.
By making a gift of $100 or more, donors will receive a $10 Symeon’s Restaurant gift certificate. A gift of $200 or more will also receive a $10 Utica Coffee Roasting Co. gift certificate.
To donate call, 315-624-6464 between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. Wednesday or you can donate online at the MVHS website.

Money raised through this year’s telethon will support the purchase of a new, state-of-the-art linear accelerator that is needed for the F. E. Romano Family Radiation Oncology Department at the cancer center.
