Oneida County has finished canvassing disputed ballots in the 22nd Congressional District race, with the results yet to be reviewed by the judge.
All eight counties in the 22nd District were ordered to correct mistakes discovered while reviewing challenged ballots in Oswego County Supreme Court.
With the unofficial results yet to be reviewed by Justice Scott DelConte, Republican Claudia Tenney leads incumbent Anthony Brindisi by 29 votes, according to reports.
Oneida County had more than 1,700 of the nearly 2,000 challenged ballots in the district. The county’s Board of Elections finished canvassing those ballots on Tuesday.
DelConte will review the updates from each county next week.
