All eight counties in the 22nd Congressional District have set tentative dates to continue canvassing ballots in the tight race between incumbent Congressman Anthony Brindisi and Republican Claudia Tenney.
As of the last unofficial count, Tenney leads Brindisi but a razor-thin margin of 12 votes.
The state Supreme Court judge ordered all boards of elections in the district to continue counting ballots, fix errors and recanvass if necessary.
The following is the proposed schedule showing when each county will begin:
Monday, Dec. 14
- Herkimer County, 2 p.m.
- Madison County, 9 a.m.
- Oswego County, 9 a.m.
Tuesday, Dec. 15

- Tioga County, 2 p.m.
Wednesday, Dec. 16
- Chenango County, 2 p.m.
- Cortland County, 9 a.m.

If necessary, Oneida County will continue into Thursday and/or Friday.
