UTICA- The 23rd annual Buddy Walk happened at Hanna Park on Sunday morning.
This walk promotes the acceptance and inclusion of all people with Down Syndrome that provides the public with an opportunity to understand and see these individuals for who they are.
It's a national event that's always held in October in conjunction with Down Syndrome Awareness month. The one in Utica is put on by United Cerebral Palsy. Organizers for the said all the money raised stays local to help UCP with its programs that help those with developmental disabilities.
