DEERFIELD, NY – For people wanting to try something different this weekend, why not try some Lebanese.
The 8th annual “Taste of Lebanon” continued at the Deerfield fire station on Saturday.
There was plenty of Lebanese food, music, and culture.
Zach Lewis, a member of the young adult group at St. Louis Gonzaga Church that puts on the festival, says it's a great way for people to get to know and enjoy the Lebanese community.
“It’s a time where we all get together. Not only can we celebrate and give back to our church, but we can have a good time together. It’s a great time to celebrate the Lebanese culture with our food, drink, and music.”
The St. Louis Gonzaga Church is the oldest functioning Maronite Catholic Church in North America.
