UTICA, NY - Illusionist Leon Etienne may have some tricks up his sleeve to keep people stuck in their homes from going stir crazy.

"When I was 12 years old I was grounded by my parents. I was bored out of my mind, and underneath my bed was the magic kit that my grandparents had given me from the prior Christmas, and I pulled that kit out, and I started learning all the tricks in it, and once I saw how great these tricks were and was showing my family, showing the adults. My mom, my dad. Their minds were blown. I was hooked."

Leon perfected his craft and wanted to share his excitement with others, so he put together his own magic kit.

"I took all my favorite tricks from when I was a kid, and assembled them into my own custom magic kit, so you can’t just go out anywhere and get this kit."

You might think magic tricks are beyond your capabilities, but this kit is designed around the beginner.

"So the tricks in my magic kit are approved from ages 6-96. It really runs the gamut. Anyone can do these tricks. Once you know the simple secret behind these tricks, you will blow people’s minds."

No matter how long the pandemic keeps you in your home, this could entertain you (and your socially distanced small audience) for quite some time.

"When you see a good magic trick, I don’t care if you’re 90 year’s old, 80 year’s old, 70, 50, so on, you will instantly revert back to that little child-like wonder that you had. I see it all the time when I perform tricks for people. The secret to making the magic look real is to keep practicing. Like anything in life, the more you do it the better you’re going to get."
