MORRIS, NY-- The Otsego County Fair is offering a variety of new vendors and activities for fairgoers this year, and organizers believe it organizers believe it could bring in up to 40,000 people.
New to the fair this year; 30 new vendors, acoustic style concerts at the grandstand, a new educational center to go along with the petting zoo and a new science discovery center.

Lisa Jones, manager of the Otsego County Fair, said the fair offers a variety of activities for many people to enjoy.
"It's an old-school agricultural fair," she said. "We still are based on the animals of course. We have one the largest floral hall exhibits here, it's really full this year. We've added a lot of new stuff so everyone should come and check it out."
The fair also has horse races, weeklong 4-H demonstrations and antique tractors pulls, that Jones said go along with the fair's farm-based history.
Jones said last year around 40,000 people attended the fair, and she expects this year will bring in similar numbers.
The fair runs until Sunday, Aug. 5.
